Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski has already secured a commitment from a member of the Texas Titans AAU team—2013 shooting guard Matt Jones. Krzyzewski is also courting Jones' teammate, Julius Randle, the No. 2 player in the class of 2013, according to ESPN.com. Now, the Blue Devil coaching staff has reached out to another player on the Texas Titans—Damian Jones.

As The Blue Zone wrote over the weekend, according to reports Mississippi State transfer Rodney Hood will relocate to Durham for the remainder of his college career. The 6-foot-8 Mississippi native, who will be forced to sit out the 2012-13 season, is set to arrive on Duke’s campus this week, joining freshmen Rasheed Sulaimon and Amile Jefferson as the team's newcomers.

This weekend, many of the nation's top prep basketball players will take a break from playing with their respective AAU teams to participate in the National Basketball Players Association Top 100 Camp. Slated to begin Wednesday morning in Charlottesville, Va., the event features some of the best players in the classes of 2013 and 2014. Players will be divided into teams and compete in tournament, giving scouts and media the unique oppurtunity of seeing the best players go head to head over the span of four days.

The Duke coaching staff's busy offseason haul continued this past weekend as they conducted the 10th annual K Academy fantasy basketball camp, while also hosting Semi Ojeleye-- the No. 8 small forward in the class of 2013 according to scout.com-- for an unofficial visit.

In the fourth and final regular session of the Nike EYBL, Jabari Parker and Julius Randle, who are the top two players in the class of 2013 and two of Duke's top targets, went head to head for the first time this year in one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the summer. Randle finished with 23 points to lead the Texas Titans to a big victory over Parker and the Mac Irvin Fire. Blue Devil commit Matt Jones was equally stellar for the Texas Titans, netting 19 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range. Jahlil Okafor, a 2014 Duke prospect, chipped in with 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Mac Irvin Fire.

The Duke coaches will host their first recruit of the offseason when Semi Ojeleye of Ottawa, Kansas makes the trip to Durham for an unofficial visit on May 31. Ojeleye, who is scout.com’s 30th ranked player overall in the class of 2013, does not hold a scholarship offer from the Blue Devil coaching staff yet, but the powerful 6-foot-6 wing could very well receive a scholarship offer while he is on campus.
