Duke offers Semi Ojeleye

The Duke coaching staff's busy offseason haul continued this past weekend as they conducted the 10th annual K Academy fantasy basketball camp, while also hosting Semi Ojeleye-- the No. 8 small forward in the class of 2013 according to scout.com-- for an unofficial visit.

While in Durham, Ojeleye received a scholarship offer from the Blue Devil head coach Mike Krzyzewski, according to the Twitter account for MOKAN Elite, the Nike basketball program. The offer is not surprising considering that the staff had been closely tracking Ojeleye during the spring evaluation periods. And in addition to being one of the best wing propects in the class, Ojeleye is reportedly a very strong student with a GPA over 4.0.

Besides Duke, the Ottawa, Kan. native is also considering Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Wisconsin. The Jayhawks are the only team on the list that has not yet offered Ojeleye a scholarship.

Ojeleye is a powerfully built 6-foot-6 wing with a very well-rounded skillset to compliment his imposing physique. Ojeleye has also been one of the fastest risers in the class of 2013 rankings due to his strong showing on the Nike EYBL circuit with his AAU team MoKan.

Sunday night, fellow 2013 Blue Devil wing target Ismail Wainright narrowed his list of schools down to Duke, Florida, Syracuse, Baylor, UCLA, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Texas, Arizona, Tulsa, N.C. State and SMU.

The Duke coaching staff  now has nine scholarship offers out to 2013 players-- Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Matt Jones (committed), Wainright, Allerik Freeman, Marcus Lee, Austin Nichols, Robert Hubbs and Ojeleye.
