An Early Look at Duke's Schedule

J.P. Giglio from the (Raleigh) News & Observer has a post up today that focuses on N.C. State's difficult ACC schedule next year. However, he also revealed which teams Duke will play twice, as well as which it will play on the road or at home only. Giglio figures that the Blue Devils are good for 14-16 wins in conference play (16 is undefeated, by the way).

We stress that this schedule has not been finalized, however, the ACC three-year rotation method of scheduling ensures that these are the teams Duke will play in the 2010-11 season:

Twice: North Carolina, Maryland, Miami, N.C. State, Virginia

Home only: Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech

Road only: Florida State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest

There's a lot of possible wins, but, even though the Blue Devils are the (very) prohibitive favorite to repeat as ACC champions, there's also some dangerous games on that list. Maryland will be tough, as always, and Florida State will be a good road test. North Carolina, with the additions of Harrison Barnes and Reggie Bullock, will not be the same team last seen losing by 32 in Cameron Indoor Stadium, and will look to not repeat their embarrassing performance.

What do you think are some other possible slip-ups for the Blue Devils?
