Students said that a common frustration was the little student input Duke considered when developing goals for the Climate Commitment.
Hundreds of thousands of North Carolina voters received mailers from a recently formed PAC. The mailers contained misleading information about the midterm elections and receipients' voting history.
Roommates who are “medically high-risk for severe illness” and test negative may request separate housing during their roommate’s isolation period. But some students described unclear communication from Student Health, instead sleeping in common rooms, hotels and other dorms.
“[Gen Z] is almost like a diamond or something. It’s getting honed by all the darkness and the struggle,” Della Volpe said.
“[I’m] hopeful that by having small conversations like this one tonight, that will begin to undo the history and the impacts that machismo has had on all of our lives,” one attendee said.
