The roughly 5,000 new first-years at UNC, some dear friends included, experienced their welcome-to-college hurrah running for cover in the basement of their nearest building as they decided whether to text home.
“If you knew that today was your last day on Earth, what would you be proud of? Did you have the opportunity to do that one thing that you would be known for? I believe that everyone has a talent, everyone has a skill set, and you just have to realize it.”
