Yale center Camilla Emsbo, a two-time All-Ivy League selection, announced Tuesday on Twitter that she will join the Blue Devils for the 2023-24 season.
With Oluchi Okananwa joining Jadyn Donovan and Delaney Thomas in planning to don Duke blue, the only recruiting classes that measure up to Kara Lawson’s are LSU’s and Arizona’s.
Blue Devil fans got an exciting announcement Friday evening per the team’s Twitter that 6-foot-2, four-star forward Delaney Thomas will be joining head coach Kara Lawson in Durham after her graduation in 2023.
Just like that, head coach Kara Lawson and the Blue Devils have made another big-time recruiting move.
The Blue Devils may have lost six players to graduation, but reinforcements are on their way. And recently, they’ve been showing their star potential.
With early national signing day just three months away, it’s prime commitment season for recruits. And the 2022 class is pivotal for the Blue Devils.
As of today, Duke is a finalist for seven top-50 recruits in the class of 2022, in addition to four-stars Ashlon Jackson and Shay Bollin, who have already committed.
Duke announced Saturday that it has signed Emily Schubert—a 6-foot-4 forward—to a national letter of intent, doubling the size of the Blue Devils' Class of 2016.
