The Blue Devils struggled to corral Virginia Tech quarterback Jerod Evans Saturday, allowing him to total 275 yards and run for a touchdown.

For the second week in a row, Duke climbed back from a big halftime deficit to take a game down to the wire, but the Blue Devils wound up losing by three again. No. 23 Virginia Tech beat the Blue Devils 24-21 Saturday, returning a blocked field goal for a touchdown in the second quarter to spark the win. Duke remains winless in the ACC at 0-5 with just three games left in the season.

The Chronicle's Ben Feder and Hank Tucker broke down what went wrong for the Blue Devils after the game at Wallace Wade Stadium.
