The Blue Devils is in New London, N.C. this weekend as they focus on closing out a successful year in the Carolinas with a victory in the conference tournament.

The No. 10 Duke squad features junior Austin Cody and freshman Mads Soegaard in addition to seniors Julian Suri, Brinson Paolini and Adam Sumrall. All but Soegaard have experience in previous ACC Championships, which has been held at the par-72 Old State North Club for 17 years.

The Blue Devils have already tied a school record with four team titles this season, with all four of those victories coming in either North or South Carolina. Paolini and Sumrall added individualist medalist honors in September and earlier this month, respectively.

The Blue Devils are facing ten ACC opponents, including No. 25 Wake Forest, No. 15 Florida State and No. 9 Georgia Tech, which has won the tournament each of the past four years. Duke entered the weekend with the momentum, however, as they won last week’s Wolfpack Spring Open, placing four golfers in the top ten. A win in this weekend would give Duke men’s golf its seventh ACC title and would be the program’s first since 2005.
