Top 5 Plays From Duke-Maryland

Duke Blue Planet has posted its collection of the top five plays from Duke's 78-67 win over Maryland Wednesday and (shock alert!) Gerald Henderson's dunk over three Terrapins comes in at No. 1.

As you know, we post these videos sporadically--they're done for every Duke win--and only when we have some more commentary to add. So: The argument we would make is to move up Henderson's block from No. 4 to No. 3, especially because the junior followed it up with a Kobe-like step-back jumper on the following possession. The block itself was worthy of distinction, but it was the silky-smooth jumper on the other end that finished the sequence. Granted, that's a small objection, because Kyle Singler's 3-pointer to put Duke up 6 helped set up the dagger, Jon Scheyer's 3-pointer to give the Blue Devils a nine-point lead.

And although we're not huge fans of Mike Patrick, here's some worthy banter between Patrick and Jay Bilas after Henderson's dunk du jour:

BILAS: That was quite an answer.

PATRICK: I don't even care what the question was.

Touche.
