Matt Sullivan owes his university and Luol Deng an apology, immediately followed by his resignation. To liken an African classmate to a monkey is so far beyond the realm of good taste that no other response is sufficient. There is no possible satisfactory explanation, and anyone with aspirations in journalism must know the history behind such insulting comments.
