Kyrie Irving played for the Duke Blue Devil's Men's basketball team in the 2010-11 basketball season. After the 9th game of the season, Kyrie Irving sustained a severe ligament injury in his right big toe that kept Irving sidelined until March 17, 2011. Irving averaged 17.5 points per game on 52.9% shooting, 4.3 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals. As first overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, Irving went to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
