2015 NCAA tournament preview: North Florida Ospreys

North Florida Ospreys

Record: 23-11

Head coach: Matthew Driscoll

Season summary: Riding an eight-game winning streak, the Ospreys are making their first appearance in the Big Dance. North Florida has spread the ball around on offense substantially this season, with seven players shooting over 35 percent from deep. Lefty Dallas Moore—the Osprey’s 6-foot-1 guard and leading scorer—also shoots at 48 percent in close and has been able to push to the rim easily in Atlantic Sun conference play. North Florida has no experience against big-name opponents, but did upset a tournament quality team in Purdue 73-70 back on Dec. 6. The Osprey's success this season comes despite two seniors in its starting lineup.

How they make a run: North Florida gets enough open looks to keep pace with its opponent.

How they falter: Without a deep bench, the Ospreys might be tired out before the end of the second half and unable to keep up late in the game.
