Trinity College of Arts & Sciences initiated a nationally-advertised search this spring for a cluster hire in Native American and Indigenous Studies. But despite areas of success, some feel there was also a "real missed opportunity" in the search regarding a candidate who was not hired despite recommendations from the committee.

Duke ramps up surveillance testing for spring semester, aims for over 20,000 tests a week

During each week since Jan. 11, Duke has conducted more surveillance tests for asymptomatic students, faculty and staff than any week last semester. Vice President of Administration Kyle Cavanaugh wrote in an email that for the spring 2021 semester, Duke’s surveillance testing program will be conducting more than 20,000 tests each week.
