Following this past weekend's back-to-back sweep of North Carolina and N.C. State, junior captain Kellie Catanach was named an ACC Volleyball Player of the Week Monday. A day later, the 6-foot-2 setter was named the National Player of the Week by CollegeVolleyballUpdate.com.
Duke 121, Carson-Newman 65 - FINAL
This weekend will be difficult for first-place Duke as it heads down to Florida to face Miami tonight and No. 24 Florida State Sunday. The road trip matches the ACC’s top preseason favorites—the Blue Devils and Seminoles—for the first and only time this season.
After averaging 5.42 digs last week, freshman libero Ali McCurdy was named ACC Volleyball Freshman of the Week, helping Duke obtain its 3-1 record over the past week.

FRESNO, Calif. — Despite a sluggish start in its NCAA tournament regional semifinal, No. 2 seeded Duke was dominant in its 74-47 victory against No. 3 seeded St. John’s at Save Mart Center Saturday night.
FRESNO, Calif. – No. 2 seeded Duke will play in its third consecutive NCAA Regional Final tonight, in search of an upset over Stanford to reach the Final Four for the first time since 2006 and in McCallie’s tenure as head coach.

Playing its sixth road game of the season, No. 4 Duke recorded a dominant 18-8 victory over Virginia Tech (4-4, 0-2 in the ACC), notching its fifth straight win to remain perfect in ACC play.
Duke’s win last night was one that came down to the final minutes, and one that came in spite of the team’s cold shooting.
Following a dominant 25-3 win over Bucknell this past weekend, No. 5 Duke is feeling confident and ready to take on William & Mary today in Williamsburg, Va at 3 p.m.
