After a grueling road trip, there truly will be no place like home for the Blue Devils.
Duke won a pair of games to advance one spot in the rankings—one of only two shifts among the nation’s top 10 teams. Week 10 witnessed much more movement in the lower half of the rankings:
Duke closes down Wallace Wade Stadium in style and Florida State remains undefeated in a week of hotly contested rivalry matchups.
No. 1 Florida State and Louisville both held on to secure late-game victories, and Duke was dealt its second straight loss Thursday by North Carolina at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Duke wrapped up its fall season with a bang, turning in strong performances at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship and the Dick Vitale Clay Court Classic.

There will be one more home game for the Blue Devils this season.
Week 10 witnessed numerous tightly-contested top-25 matchups with major implications for the College Football Playoff. Duke won a shootout at Pittsburgh, 51-48. As a result of this victory, the Blue Devils advanced two spots in this week’s AP Poll.
Only two teams in the top 25 lost in week nine, and both losses were to ranked teams. The Blue Devils sat out of action, but climbed to No. 24 in the nation.
The Blue Devils entered this weekend's race with hopes of earning an at-large bid. They barely escaped without a last-place finish.
Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel Saturday to McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C., for the Royals Challenge. Duke will try to replicate the success it had in last year’s race, as the men dominated the field and the women took home second.
At a time when they are playing arguably their best soccer, the Blue Devils will be tested on Friday night by the best offense in the ACC.
