Thursday morning yielded stunning news in the world of Duke Athletics, as women’s basketball’s Joanne P. McCallie announced that she was stepping away as head coach of the program. Almost instantly, current and former Blue Devil women’s basketball players reacted with an outpouring of love and support for McCallie.
While a search for McCallie's successor will begin immediately, current and former members of the program felt compelled to share their thoughts and memories surrounding the now former head coach of Duke women’s basketball.
