After struggling with a lack of depth over the last few weeks, Duke will finally get a key piece of its lineup back.

The team announced in a press release Saturday afternoon that Wendell Moore Jr. will return to the floor Saturday night against Syracuse. The freshman forward broke his right hand late in the Blue Devils' first win against Miami Jan. 4 and hasn't played since, missing six games—including two losses—in the process.

Prior to the injury, Moore was averaging 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game over his first 14 collegiate contests. The Charlotte native is an instrumental part of Duke's perimeter defense and overall depth.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski alluded to a shrunken rotation being a factor in his team's upset defeat at Clemson Jan. 14, four days before the Blue Devils would lose to then-No. 11 Louisville at home. Duke has dropped from No. 2 in the AP poll down to No. 9 in the four weeks Moore has been out.

The Blue Devils will take on the Orange Saturday night at 8 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
