ACC watch: Luke Maye's double-double leads UNC past Western Carolina, Georgia Tech falls to Wofford

Every night of the college basketball season, the Blue Zone will bring you updates on all of the important ACC matchups. After a night of upsets Tuesday, Wednesday went relatively quietly, with all ACC teams in action taking care of business against lower conference opponents, save for Georgia Tech's loss at Wofford.

No. 11 North Carolina 104, Western Carolina 61

Star forward Luke Maye had 12 points and 12 rebounds to help the Tar Heels crush the Catamounts. North Carolina allowed just 26 points in the first half and had seven players score at least nine points.

Wofford 63, Georgia Tech 60

The Yellow Jackets largely took care of business on defense—except for on Fletcher Magee. The junior guard hit 8-of-14 threes en route to drop 36 points, while the rest of the Terriers starters combined for just 14 points and to shoot 5-of-26 from the floor. Georgia Tech struggled to hold onto the ball, turning it over 16 times to lose its third straight game.

The other scores:

Virginia Tech 95, Radford 68

Louisville 86, Siena 60

Florida State 96, Loyola (MD) 71

Check back in Friday night for news from Wake Forest's contest against Army and Saturday for Duke's ACC opener against Boston College.
