Injury Report: Duke football vs. Georgia Tech

The Blue Devils will step into conference play Saturday against No. 20 Georgia Tech and head coach Paul Johnson's vaunted triple option offense. Duke released its weekly injury report Thursday afternoon:

PROBABLE

RB Jela Duncan (upper body)

QUESTIONABLE

LB Chris Holmes (leg)

S Jake Kite (leg)

OUT

TE Dan Beilinson (leg)

OG Cody Robinson (upper body)

OUT FOR SEASON

LB Kelby Brown (leg)

CB Bryon Fields (leg)

DT Zach Morris (leg)

DE Taariq Shabazz (leg)

Breakdown: Duncan appears to have made significant progress returning from a partially torn pectoral muscle that cost him much of fall camp as well as Duke's first three games of the season. The redshirt junior was listed as out on the Blue Devils' first three injury reports in 2015 but could see his first touches of the year in a game in which running back play will be critical.

Holmes is questionable this week after missing last week's loss against then-No. 23 Northwestern, and Robinson will miss his second consecutive game, giving the offensive line more work to do up front to open up holes for the Blue Devil backs. Beilinson does not have a catch this season.

Check back with the Blue Zone Friday for all your pregame coverage ahead of Saturday's ACC opener between the Blue Devils and Yellow Jackets at Wallace Wade Stadium.
