Duke football injury report vs. Wake Forest

As the Blue Devils prepare to take on Wake Forest at BB&T Field Saturday at noon, Duke released its weekly injury report. Here’s a rundown of the players are listed on the injury report this week:

PROBABLE

S Dwayne Norman (leg)

OUT

QB Thomas Sirk (leg)

DE Jonathan Woodruff (arm)

OUT FOR SEASON

OT Tanner Stone (leg)

DT Jamal Wallace (leg)

Breakdown: Duke controls its own destiny in the ACC's Coastal Division race, and the Blue Devils have a relatively clean bill of health heading to Wake Forest this weekend. Sustaining no major injuries last weekend against Miami, only safety Dwayne Norman's status is uncertain for this weekend's contest against the Demon Deacons. He is listed as probable, but has not played significant time in the defensive backfield this season thanks to the rise of DeVon Edwards and Deondre Singleton. Having Norman available would likely aid Duke on special teams this weekend, but the team's 11 starters on both sides of the ball appear healthy heading into Saturday. Cornerback Ross Cockrell still looked hobbled by a nagging ankle injury on Senior Day, but is not listed on this week's injury report and will start against Wake Forest.
