Duke football injury report vs. N.C. State

As the Blue Devils prepare to take on N.C. State at Wallace Wade Stadium Saturday at 4 p.m., Duke released its weekly injury report. Here’s a rundown of the players are listed on the injury report this week:

QUESTIONABLE

WR Brandon Braxton (shoulder)

CB Ross Cockrell (ankle)

DE Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo (lower body)

S Dwayne Norman (leg)

OUT

CB Jared Boyd (leg)

QB Thomas Sirk (leg)

OUT FOR SEASON

OT Tanner Stone (leg)

DT Jamal Wallace (leg)

Breakdown: No real surprises here. Duke was a bit banged up coming off its upset victory against Virginia Tech, but with a big game coming up against N.C. State there won't be many injuries that keep the Blue Devils off the field.

Cornerback Ross Cockrell played just one snap in the second half against the Hokies after suffering an ankle injury on his interception in the second quarter. Safety Dwayne Norman missed Duke's win against the Hokies battling a leg injury of his own. Both practiced this week, though it appears Cockrell is more likely to suit up Saturday than Norman. Injuries to Brandon Braxton and Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo have them both listed as questionable as well, and they will likely be game-time decisions for head coach David Cutcliffe.
