Coach K tells Myles Turner he can be a one-and-done

In Myles Turner's latest USA Today blog, he talks about cutting his list to eight schools and other experiences as he has shot up recruiting rankings.

In regards to Duke and Coach K, he writes:

I also like how Coach K talks to me.

He handles me like I'm a pro. He says things like: "Myles you're a pro and you need to carry yourself that way. You don't need to worry about all of this media, outside stuff you need to start training your mind now. Hopefully you'll only be in college for a year and head off to the NBA because I can see you there."

Coming from him that's big for me. It gives me even more confidence in myself.

All of the coaches have different ways of letting me know that they really want me there.

Turner cut his list earlier in August to eight: Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Arizona, Ohio State, Texas and Oklahoma State.

Turner, now ranked No. 10 in the class of 2014 according to ESPN, also writes about Kentucky head coach John Calipari, package deals and Jahlil Okafor in the blog post. Turner's recruitment at Duke will be closely tied to Okafor's decision, as both of them play the center position.
