McGary narrows list to Duke, Michigan and Florida

In a new blog post on ESPNHS today, Mitch McGary announced he has narrowed his list of potential schools to Duke, Michigan and Florida, and revealed he would make an official decision next week.

McGary, ESPN's top-ranked power forward in the class of 2012, also wrote he was still considering North Carolina, but doesn't "really know what’s going on with their scholarship situation after their latest commitments." The Tarheels added Brice Johnson, 2012's ninth-ranked power forward,  on Wednesday.

McGary, a 6-foot-10, 225 lb. senior at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., wrote he would announce his final choice on ESPNHS' "Mitch's Memos" blog. A Chesterton, In. native, Michigan is thought to be the favorite for McGary, but Blue Devil head coach Mike Krzyzewski and his staff have made a hard push over the last few months.

Rasheed Sulaimon, ESPN's 12th-ranked player in the class, is currently Duke's only commit for next season.
