Duke may host ESPN's College GameDay

ESPN College GameDay has put out its schedule for the 2011-12 season, and Duke may be on it.

That's right, the Tobacco Road showdown in Durham on Mar. 3 just might be a part of the network's weekly program. For the first time, the show has adopted a flex pick option for the final game on its schedule, allowing it to choose between North Carolina at Duke and Texas at Kansas.

The Tar Heels will play at Florida State on Jan. 14 in the show's only guaranteed ACC matchup. The Jayhawks will play against Missouri, and former Miami coach Frank Haith, on Feb. 4.

The Big East is the most-represented conference with two contests on the eight-game slate: Louisville at Pittsburgh on Jan. 21 and Syracuse at Connecticut Feb. 25.

The Blue Devils last hosted College GameDay in 2010, an 82-50 blowout of North Carolina in the regular season finale.
