After a brief stint last year with the Indiana Fever, Joy Cheek has found her way back into the WNBA.
The former Blue Devil was picked up by the Washington Mystics today after the WNBA granted the team a medical hardship due to injuries to both Alana Beard and Monique Currie, both of whom, ironically, are also former Blue Devils.
Cheek averaged two points and just under five minutes a game in seven appearances for the Fever last summer.
