Start Times Set For First Three Football Games

The start times for Duke football's first three games were announced on Wednesday as part of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Early Season Football Television Schedule Release.

The Blue Devils' early slate is highlighted by a visit from Heisman Trophy hopeful Andrew Luck and Orange Bowl champion Stanford on Sept. 10. The 3:30 p.m. game will be carried nationwide by ESPNU.

A week prior, Duke will open against Richmond at 7 p.m. in Wallace Wade Stadium, broadcast live on ESPN3.com. On Sept. 17, the Blue Devils' ACC opener at Boston College will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised on the ACC Network.

Several other notable Sept. 17 matchups were included in the release. During the afternoon, Clemson will take on Auburn, the defending national champions, at noon on ABC. That night, Miami will host Ohio State at 7:30/8 p.m. While the game has lost much of its luster after the suspensions of Ohio State's head coach Jim Tressel and star Terrelle Pryor, either ESPN or ABC will provide live coverage. The network not televising the Buckeye vs. Hurricane matchup will show another marquee matchup: Oklahoma at Florida State.
