Duke Rowing dominates Potomac

In its first race of the year, the Head of the Potomac, Duke Rowing won the top two places in three of the event’s four races.

Competing on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., the Blue Devils won the 8+ entry with rowers Justine Hong, Emily Theys, Breanna Briede, Alex Japhet, Rory Erickson-Kulas, Nancy McKinstry, Sydney Johnson, Victoria Tsamis and Joline Doedens. The 4+ was won by Emi Machetti, Theys, Erickson-Kulas, Kathy Smithwick and Laura Sciarrino.

Japhet, Kathryn Lowry, Laura Guth and Stephanie Rosser won the 4- entry.
