Chicago native Mike Krzyzewski is about to get his own day in his home city.
According to Chicago Breaking News, Krzyzewski will be inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame September 15—which is also his day of honor.
Krzyzewski, a Weber High graduate, will receive the Ray Meyer College Coach of the Year award in a ceremony at the hall of fame. Other luminaries scheduled to be inducted include Frank Thomas and Simeon Rice.
