ACC Media Project Duke To Finish Last In ACC

The writers have spoken, and the predictions don't favor Duke.

The Blue Devils were slated to finish sixth in the ACC Coastal Division and in last place in the ACC by the league's media outlets. The preseason standings were announced Monday at ACC Football Kickoff in Greensboro, where coaches and two representatives from each team gathered. Thaddeus Lewis and Vince Oghobaase represented Duke.

Duke, which finished 4-8 last season, received a league-worst 120 points. Virginia, the fifth-place Coastal squad, got 148 votes. Maryland and Boston College rounded out the Atlantic Division with 157 and 145 votes, respectively.
