Smith 'Probable' For ACC Tournament Opener

Sophomore point guard Nolan Smith, who has missed Duke's last three games after sustaining a mild concussion Feb. 25, was deemed "probable" for Duke's ACC Tournament opener Friday in the Georgia Dome. Smith began to practice Tuesday in Durham, and the Blue Devils flew down to Atlanta Thursday for their Friday night opener against either Virginia or Boston College.

In Smith's absence, Elliot Williams and Greg Paulus have taken over point guard duties. Smith, a starter earlier in the season before moving to a reserve role later in the year, is averaging 8.5 points for third-seeded Duke.
