Paging "Greg" Zoubek

Brian Zoubek's playing time may be on the upswing this year, but his newfound exposure doesn't seem to have extended to the realm of college basketball announcers.

During Tuesday's 73-56 win over N.C. State, the Raycom analysts called Zoubek "Greg" for a large majority of the first half, apparently not even realizing they were mistaken until there were about five minutes left in the half.

This isn't the first time this has happened, either. During Duke's multiple games on ESPN over winter break, analyst Len Elmore also repeatedly called Zoubek "Greg," seemingly without recognizing his mistake.

What's going on here? How can analysts possibly be confusing the 6-foot-1 Greg Paulus with the 7-foot-1 Zoubek? Does Zoubek have a nickname unbeknownst to everyone else? Or is there simply a plague of misinformation running rampant among college basketball announcers?
