Woman arrested for trespassing

Karen Louise Havens, DOB 07-04-1971, of 326 E.Main St. Apt 2 Durham, was arrested and charged May 26 with second degree trespassing. Havens previously caused a trespassing-related disturbance in the Allen Building on May 6. On this day, she was seen entering the Allen Building again. She was arrested and given a $500 secured bond. Her court date was scheduled for June 29. Havens could not be reached for comment.

Man arrested in Duke Gardens

Ray Naddle Rigsbee, DOB 01-13-84, of 1005 Carolina Ave., Durham, was arrested May 30 on three outstanding orders for arrest by the Durham Police Department. Rigsbee was stopped in Duke Gardens on Central Campus and taken into custody. He was held on a $3000secured bond. His court date is scheduled for June 10. Rigsbee could not be reached for comment.

Watch, MP3 player missing

An employee reported May 28 the theft of a wrist watch and MP3 player from the men's locker room at the Wilson Recreation Center. The items were left in a gym bag on the floor of the locker room while the employee was showering. He returned about 15 minutes later and discovered the items were missing. The items are valued at $300.

Poster snatched
An employee reported June 1 that a poster had been stolen from the elevated walkway between Duke South Clinics and Parking Garage One. It was taken sometime between 10 a.m. May 31 and 11 a.m. June 1. The poster was worth $70.

Employee's bag lost, then found
An employee at the Duke Clinics reported May 28 the theft of her shoulder bag and its contents. The bag was last secured at 8:30 a.m. May 28. It was discovered missing at 4:30 p.m. the same day. At 10 p.m. May 28, another employee reported finding the bag in a men's rest-room trash can. All contents were accounted for.
