DUKE TRUMPS CAROLINA

There's no place like Cameron.

No. 3 Duke (24-4, 13-3) rode freshman Luol Deng's 25-points en route to a thrilling 70-65 victory over bitter rival North Carolina Saturday night in Durham, N.C.

Though the Tobacco Road rivals exchanged the lead throughout the night, the Blue Devils were able to pull away in the waning minutes thanks to stingy defense and patient offensive attack. UNC's Rashad McCants had been nearly unstoppable in the opening 22 minutes of action, scoring 16 points in that span, but was held scoreless until the final two minutes of play as Duke captured its 14th win in 16 tries over the Tar Heels.

The victory came in front of a parade of former Duke stars, including Bobby Hurley, Grant Hill, Roshown McCleod and Danny Ferry. Also in attendance was billionare Donald Trump.
