BREAKING NEWS: Former NFL Assistant Galbraith to be named Duke's new offensive coordinator

Marty Galbraith, a former tight ends coach for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, will be announced as Duke's new offensive coordinator at a press conference at 11:45 this morning in the Yoh Football Center, according to a source in Duke's sports information office.

A defensive back for Missouri Southern from 1971-73, Galbraith began his coaching career in the college ranks with Purdue in 1977. The Joplin, Mo., native has also worked for Wake Forest ('78-'82), the USFL's Tampa Bay Bandits ('83-'84), the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs ('85), the USFL's Arizona Outlaws ('86), Louisiana State ('87-'88), Wake Forest ('89-'90), Pittsburgh ('91), Georgia Tech ('92-'93), Marshall ('98-'99), and N.C. State ('00-'02).
