Letter to the Editor: Walk-up policy for Wednesday's game

Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., the men's basketball team will square off against the EA Sports All Stars in the first exhibition game of the season in Cameron Indoor Stadium. This game has been classified as a Walk-up Game, and admission into Cameron will occur through the walk-up line. Students may form the line on the sidewalk running in front of Card Gymnasium and Wilson Recreation Center whenever they wish.

Line Monitors will begin registering the line at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and will continue to be there to register walk-up groups until three hours before tipoff. You may register in groups of up to six people, and of your group, 50 percent must be present at registration, as well as remain in line on the sidewalk at all times, as group checks may be administered at any time.

Everyone in your group should be in line no later than two hours before tip-off to ensure that we can get everyone in as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

Beginning three hours before tipoff, the secondary line will form on the sidewalk running along the wooded area heading towards Towerview Drive. All undergraduate students who have not registered with the primary groups may join the secondary line, which will enter Cameron after the primary line.

If there are any questions, please contact me at dgw2@duke.edu. I hope to see everyone out in Cameron Wednesday night to kick off the exhibition season with a bang!  Lets go Duke!
