Line monitor sets UNC tent policy for weekend

It has never been easier to see Duke play Carolina in Cameron Indoor Stadium! The atmosphere for the game, this Sunday at 3:30, should be electric, and all students are urged to come out and cheer on the Blue Devils.

To make it easier on all students, there will be another tent registration today at 1 p.m. This registration will take place at the Krzyzewskiville sign outside of Cameron. You only need one member of your tent present to register, and it will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is still room for over 50 tents at K-ville! There will be a grace period for all tents between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, at which time personal checks will begin. Five personal checks will be called between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and each tenter needs to make only three of the checks in order to get into the game. Students may also choose to form a walk-up line in groups of two, with one person being present at all times.

In case you are concerned about being bored at K-ville on Friday and Saturday nights, a number of events have been planned for both tenters and non-tenters. Friday, pizza will be provided by coach Mike Krzyzewski at 7 p.m., and the John Mayer concert will be in the IM building at 9 p.m. Saturday, dinner will be provided at 5 p.m., followed by Krzyzewski's speech at 8 p.m. and classic Duke basketball games being shown at 9 p.m. The Dance Marathon will also be held Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and will be open to all students.

Everyone is invited to set-up a tent or join the walk-up line and have a great time this weekend at K-ville in anticipation of a great victory on Sunday. Go to Hell, Carolina!
