A DukeAlert was sent to Duke community members at 4 a.m., reporting a robbery near East Campus.
According to the alert, a student walking back from downtown Durham at approximately 3:10 a.m. was approached by two individuals at Main and Buchanan. The suspects, who did not show a weapon, hit the victim and demanded money.
"The two subjects took his wallet and left," noted the alert. "There is no description of the suspects, and no serious injuries were reported."
