Updated: Marques Bolden elects to return for sophomore season with Duke men's basketball

Update: After his initial report, Adam Rowe of 247sports updated his story at 7 p.m. Monday to say that Marques Bolden is staying at Duke after noting at 10:40 p.m. Sunday that Bolden had not reached a final decision on transferring. The team confirmed his latest report Monday at 7:55 p.m. in a press release. Rowe originally reported Sunday that Bolden had decided to transfer.

Duke finished the year 28-9 with an 88-81 second-round loss to No. 7 seed South Carolina in the NCAA tournament, almost five months after starting at No. 1 in the nation. The Chronicle's Amrith Ramkumar, Sameer Pandhare and Hank Tucker broke down what went wrong in the loss, reflected on the Blue Devils' season and discussed how much turnover their roster could see heading into next year.
