After handily defeating both No. 16 seed Robert Morris and No. 8 seed San Diego State in the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament, the top-seeded Blue Devils will face No. 5 seed Utah in a Sweet 16 matchup Friday at 9:45 p.m. at NRG Stadium in Houston. Three keys to a Duke win, which would put the Blue Devils one game away from Indianapolis and the Final Four.





X factor: Duke basketball vs. North Carolina

The first installment of this year's Tobacco Road rivalry brought a thrilling 92-90 overtime contest that saw the Blue Devils emerge victorious in Durham. This time, the two rivals will travel to Chapel Hill to close out the regular season Saturday with a 9 p.m. tip-off at the Dean Dome. The Tar Heels are fighting for the No. 4 seed in next week's ACC tournament and will be looking for revenge against No. 3 Duke, who is looking to solidify its resume for a No. 1 seed for the NCAA tournament. Before every game this season, the Blue Zone will select a player on both teams that could make a difference for their respective squads.

No. 4 Duke (5-0): Duke made mincemeat of its first two opponents, Presbyterian and Fairfield, as expected, beat No. 19 Michigan State at the Champions Classic in Indianapolis, then cruised to a Coaches vs. Cancer Classic title with wins against Temple and Stanford. Freshman and top-recruit Jahlil Okafor has shined for the Blue Devils, averaging 15.8 points per game and 8.0 rebounds.
