In his four years at Duke, former wide receiver Austin Kelly caught 129 passes for 1439 yards and nine touchdowns. But now Kelly will look to be scoring on the hardwood and not the grass, as the 2011 graduate will suit up for Georgia State Southwestern University next season, where he will have one season of eligibility left.

Earlier today, Rick and Leslie Holliday, the parents of Duke wide receiver Blair Holliday, issued a statement thanking the Duke football program for its support during their time of hardship. Blair Holliday suffered injuries to his head in a jet ski accident with teammate Jamison Crowder July 4, sending Holliday into critical condition.

This weekend, reports surfaced that Mississippi State wing player Rodney Hood will transfer to Duke, selecting the Blue Devils over Ohio State, among others. The 6-foot-8 wing averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a freshman, nailing 1.5 3-pointers per game. After sitting out the 2012-2013 season, he will be eligible to play for Duke in 2013-2014.
