Coming off of a nine-day holiday break, the Blue Devils return to action in Cameron Indoor Stadium against Elon. Duke seeks to bounce back from a heartbreaking overtime loss to Utah a little more than a week ago that snapped a seven game-winning streak. Although a title seems realistic for only a couple of the former Blue Devil standouts, expect a few spectacular performances from Duke's best on the way. Fowler makes first start in goal for Duke lacrosse in loss at North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL—A week after an ugly 19-7 defeat to then-No. 1 Syracuse, Duke head coach John Danowski made the call to infuse even more youth into the Blue Devil lineup, starting redshirt freshman Danny Fowler between the pipes against North Carolina in place of incumbent goalkeeper Luke Aaron.












Making the Grade: Duke football vs. Arizona State

With back-to-back 10 win seasons for the first time in school history on the line, the Blue Devils fell to Arizona State 36-31 in the Hyundai Sun Bowl Saturday in El Paso, Texas. Duke’s season ended in bowl heartbreak for the third straight year as the Sun Devils used a 96-yard kickoff return by freshman Kalen Ballage with five minutes left to set up the game-winning touchdown just seconds after Duke took its first lead of the game.


Duke vs. No. 15 Arizona State Sun Bowl preview: Defense

As the Hyundai Sun Bowl between Duke and No. 15 Arizona State approaches, the Blue Zone takes a look at how both team's defensive units have fared this season and what we should expect from them Saturday. Making the Grade: Duke football vs. Wake Forest

Coming off of a crushing defeat to North Carolina last Thursday, the Blue Devils finished the regular season strong with a win against ACC foe Wake Forest 41-21 Saturday. Redshirt senior quarterback Anthony Boone bounced back from a trio of poor performances to help guide Duke to its second consecutive nine-win season for the first time in school history. The Blue Devils struck first—executing on special teams and maintaining the lead in the second half behind a sturdy defense—as they never trailed in the win to lock up a second-place finish in the ACC Coastal Division.

After an error-filled defeat at the hands of Virginia Tech, Duke is clinging on to the top spot in the Coastal Division as they prepare to play in-state rival North Carolina. The No. 25 Blue Devils can protect their division crown by beating the Tar Heels Thursday and then Wake Forest the week after. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Wallace Wade Stadium.
