As I start bookbagging for the last time as a senior, I find myself paralyzed by all of the options. Suddenly, I regret not taking a class with every professor I was inspired by and not exploring interesting subjects regardless of whether or not it was relevant to my major. There is no more “maybe next semester.” All of a sudden the endless possibilities that bookbagging used to represent have become painfully finite.

Every year student organizations line the East Campus Quad trying to entice freshman to join them. All 300+ of the student-run organizations recognized by the University, as well as student resource centers such as the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, are eligible for apply for a spot at the fair. This year's Activities Fair, which was sponsored by Launch and took place Friday, was attended by approximately 250 organizations, according to an estimation by Launch event programmer and junior Brooks Sime.

The website is a collection of secrets written on anonymous post cards that are mailed in from around the country.The postcard showed a picture of the Duke Chapel and read, "Sometimes I wish I had the courage to jump off the top of this chapel. I'd ask for help but no one actually cares. No one actually understands. Everyone is self absorbed in their own lives."The post garnered many email responses from readers of PostSecret offering support. One response came from a Chapel Hill resident who urged the anonymous poster to stay safe and seek out suicide prevention in the area.Another response directed the author of the postcard to Duke's Counseling and Psychological Services located at 214 Page Building. CAPS offers the services psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists free Duke students. The staff works with students dealing with everything from the challenges of everyday life to more serious conditions that effect daily functioning."...we recognize that any student may face some level of challenge at any point in their careers here at Duke. Our work is guided by sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student body," the CAPS website states.CAPS can be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 919-660-1000.

A total of 3,420 students, which makes up 53 percent of the student body, voted online by ranking their the candidates in order of preference. Because no candidate received a majority vote—defined as 51 percent of the votes—Zhang, who received the fewest amount of first-choice votes, was eliminated. The top two candidates then entered an instant run off. Kondamuri received a total of 1,716 votes and Tobia received 1,704 votes after the instant runoff.
