SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The first time the Blue Devils traveled away from Cameron Indoor for an ACC matchup — an ugly loss to Georgia Tech — they were sloppy and disjointed. This time around, it looked as though history may repeat itself, but No. 14 Duke was able to weather a rocky first half and pull away for a 67-59 win against Notre Dame inside Purcell Pavilion.

No. 14 Duke is looking to continue its winning streak Saturday evening at Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Ind., against Notre Dame. After 20 minutes, the Blue Devils have work to do in order to keep their triumphant run intact, narrowly leading the Fighting Irish 29-27:

After the Blue Devils’ game Sunday against Boston College, head coach Kara Lawson noted how it is hard to turn the ball over at a high level and still win. Duke had 28 turnovers in the victory, largely in part due to 63.8% shooting. When the shooting falters, though, the same mistakes cannot occur. 




Duke wrestling struggles at Southern Scuffle despite breakout performances from Barket, Adams, Bonsu

Duke began the new year traveling down to Chattanooga, Tenn., to compete in the 2024 Southern Scuffle. Throughout the two-day tournament, 12 Blue Devils wrestled against opponents from 20 different schools, including No. 18 Stanford, No. 19 Oklahoma and No. 22 Indiana.

When the buzzer rang to commence a timeout called by Syracuse head coach Adrian Autry, four Blue Devils — Kyle Filipowski, Jared McCain, Tyrese Proctor and Jeremy Roach — jumped in the air to bump shoulders and cheer. Their airborne exultation could have been on a poster for sale at the Duke campus store: It was “The Brotherhood” at its finest.
