Freshmen Kyle Filipowski and Christian Reeves have each undergone recent surgical procedures, per a team release Thursday afternoon.

Filipowski, the reigning ACC Rookie of the Year, underwent an arthroscopic procedure on both hips.

Reeves, a Charlotte, N.C., native who played in 13 games for the Blue Devils this past season, had surgery on his left ankle.

The causes or underlying injuries that required surgical intervention were not disclosed, but both have begun rehab for the upcoming season. Filipowski announced Tuesday morning that he will return for his sophomore year, joining Mark Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor as returning starters for the 2023-24 season.
