Duke released its finalized 2021-22 nonconference slate on its official Twitter account Wednesday morning, headlined by matchups against Kentucky, Gonzaga and Ohio State.

The Blue Devils will officially open the campaign Oct. 15 with Countdown to Craziness, the annual preseason hype event and intrasquad scrimmage that was canceled last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After one preseason contest against Winston-Salem State on Oct. 30, Duke will then begin the regular season with a Champions Classic matchup against Kentucky Nov. 9 at Madison Square Garden.

Following that, the Blue Devils will host the Duke Veteran’s Day Weekend Showcase at Cameron Indoor Stadium Nov. 12-13, a multi-team event that'll include Army, Campbell and Hartford. Duke will take on Army Nov. 12 in its home opener and Campbell the following day, while Hartford will also play both Army and Campbell in Cameron.

As previously announced, Duke will take on Gonzaga Nov. 26 in Las Vegas in the Continental Tire Challenge and will play at Ohio State Nov. 30 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Home matchups against Gardner-Webb, Lafayette, The Citadel, South Carolina State, Appalachian State and Cleveland State round out the Blue Devils' nonconference schedule.
