Commissioner Swofford says ACC tournament will go on despite coronavirus concerns

Wednesday marked the most jarring day in basketball history, as the NBA suspended its season after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for COVID-19. 

And yet, the ACC tournament will go on.

ACC Commisioner John Swofford announced Thursday morning on the ACC Network's Packer and Durham that the ACC men's basketball tournament quarterfinals will continue as planned Thursday. The conference had announced yesterday that no fans would be allowed in the Greensboro Coliseum starting Thursday.

Duke is slated to play North Carolina State at 2:30 p.m.
