Freshman guard Cassius Stanley did not play in Duke's contest against Notre Dame Saturday afternoon. Although the Los Angeles native was seen on the floor during warmups, Stanley left for the locker room shortly afterwards with an eye injury and did not return to action in Cameron.

The Duke men's basketball official account tweeted that Stanley was doubtful due to an eye injury minutes before the game.

Stanley reappeared on Duke's bench midway through the first half wearing his warmup gear, but did not enter the game.

The freshman guard is averaging 12.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, using a solid shooting stroke and incredible athleticism to score at will and give the Blue Devils a constant offensive spark.
