The Blue Devils' first appearance on ESPN's "College Gameday" this season will come against an unlikely opponent.
No. 7 Duke will host Miami Jan. 21 at Cameron Indoor Stadium at 8:15 p.m., the team announced Wednesday morning. The time of the game had previously not been announced. Although the Hurricanes are not ranked, ESPN will feature its signature pregame show that day—the eighth straight year it will take place at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
"College Gameday" will start inside Cameron at 11 a.m., followed by an evening segment at 8 p.m. before the game. Since Duke also hosted the show for the North Carolina game last year, next Saturday's show will mark the first time a school has hosted consecutive editions.
The Blue Devils are coming off a 16-point loss at No. 9 Florida State Tuesday and take on No. 14 Louisville on the road Saturday.
