The Blue Devils will send one more grappler to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in St. Louis March 19-21 at the Scottrade Center.

Following the selection process for at-large berths, redshirt senior Immanuel Kerr-Brown was selected to complete the field at the 157-pound weight class. Kerr-Brown is 22-11 on the year and sports a career 77-54 record in his time in a Duke singlet.

Although the Rome, Ga., native finished fourth in the ACC Championships, he did not finish high enough to receive an automatic bid to the national tournament; however, his RPI—he was ranked No. 13 going into competition Sunday—was enough to receive an at-large bid from the national selection committee.

For Duke, Kerr-Brown joins No. 7 redshirt junior Conner Hartmann, freshman Mitch Finesilver, sophomore Jacob Kasper and redshirt junior Marcus Cain as grapplers competing in St. Louis.

Five qualifiers in a single season marks the most in program history to compete in the NCAA tournament. The previous record was four, set in 2004.
