Inclement weather shortened the Duke Baseball Classic to a two-day event, and now the Blue Devil lacrosse team has also been affected.

Sunday's tilt between No. 5 Duke and Stony Brook has been postponed after the Blue Devils' trip to New York—which included a pit stop in Baltimore—was grounded by winter weather Saturday. The Baltimore area is under a winter storm warning through Sunday morning, with four to eight inches of snow and sleet expected to hit the region. Duke's flight was one of many to be canceled.

Duke (3-1) will reschedule its matchup with the Sea Wolves (2-1) later this spring. A date has not yet been announced.

The Blue Devils had not played since a 16-6 win against Mercer Feb. 15. Duke's next game is a Feb. 28 contest against Harvard, the beginning of a three-game homestand.
